"We are pleased to be able to feature the 2002 Baer reds, as only tiny quantities were produced. With only a few vintages under his complete control, winemaker Lance Baer has established a signature for his spicy, complex blended reds.

The 2002 Baer Ursa is a blend of 44% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Franc, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon from Stillwater Creek and Elerding vineyards (367 cases). It features a bold aroma of cassis with hints of tea leaf and cedar.

The 2002 Baer Arctos is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, and 8% Cabernet Franc. This powerful young red show lots of Belgian chocolate and mocha notes, with roasted coffee and black cherry (305 cases).
